Najnowsza praktyka artystyczna Norberta Delmana wyłania się z melancholii współczesności, w której dominują niemoc, frustracja i poczucie bezsilności. Światowy dyskurs medialny kreuje obraz pełen dominującej narracji klęski i kryzysu, odbierając społeczeństwom zdolność do sprawczego działania i nadziei. To opowieść o paradoksie doświadczania niesprawiedliwości, której nie jesteśmy w stanie zatrzymać. Jednak artysta świadomie odrzuca ten monolit beznadziei, proponując alternatywną narrację — narrację kwitnącego gruzu.
Proces ten staje się gestem głębokiej empatii, rytuałem przytulenia „resztek” historii i doświadczeń. Gruz, na pierwszy rzut oka symbol rozpadu i końca, staje się organiczną metaforą siły podtrzymującej ciągłość i odradzanie się. Ruiny są tu nośnikami pamięci, materialnymi śladami przeszłości, które nie pozwalają na całkowite wymazanie minionego. Shimmering Rubble to opowieść o nadziei — nie w ujęciu banalnego optymizmu i myślenia utopijnego, lecz świadomej dyscypliny emocjonalnej i postawy wytrwałości. Rzeźby Delmana są jak totemy, obeliski, symbole trwania i oporu wobec nihilizmu.

Norbert Delman's latest artistic practice emerges from the melancholy of the present day, dominated by helplessness, frustration, and a sense of powerlessness. The global media discourse creates an image dominated by narratives of defeat and crisis, depriving societies of their capacity for effective action and hope. It is a story about the paradox of experiencing injustice that we are unable to stop. However, the artist consciously rejects this monolith of hopelessness, proposing an alternative narrative — a narrative of flourishing rubble.
This process becomes a gesture of deep empathy, a ritual of embracing the "remnants" of history and experience. Rubble, at first glance a symbol of decay and end, becomes an organic metaphor for the force that sustains continuity and rebirth. Ruins are carriers of memory, material traces of the past that prevent the past from being completely erased. Shimmering Rubble is a story of hope — not in terms of banal optimism and utopian thinking, but conscious emotional discipline and perseverance. Delman's sculptures are like totems, obelisks, symbols of endurance and resistance to nihilism.
